Our Story
Unique Private Care Center Inc (UPCP) was founded from personal experience overcoming domestic violence and homelessness. Our founder’s firsthand struggles navigating housing instability revealed the urgent need for coordinated, compassionate, and holistic services for families in crisis.
Today, UPCP is dedicated to providing safe, stable shelter and essential support services. We empower individuals to rebuild their lives through guidance, opportunity, and community connections—turning hardship into hope and resilience. Our commitment is to not only help people find immediate stability, but also to equip them with tools for lasting self-sufficiency and a brighter future.

Our Services
UPCP provides much more than shelter—including job placement assistance, transportation support, medical coordination, educational resources, and holistic empowerment for individuals and families.
Job Placement Assistance
We connect clients to local employment opportunities, prepare resumes, and provide interview guidance to support their journey towards independence.
Transportation Support
Reliable transportation is essential. We arrange for rides to interviews, work, medical appointments, and educational programs to remove barriers.
Medical Coordination
Our team ensures clients access essential healthcare, helping schedule appointments, coordinate with providers, and attend to specific medical needs.
Educational Resources
We offer tutoring, GED support, and access to skill-building programs so clients and their families can pursue education and lifelong learning.
